I think Im addicted to the internet..
I always use my phone or any gadget that I have and do useless things... checking Twitter or watching videos in Youtube.
What's worse is that it affects my work. Tbh Im very embarrassed to share this. The amount of time I use in the internet couldve been used for something productive but I didnt use it. I lose track of time everytime.
Or maybe Im just paranoid. Maybe it's... I dunno

Hi. As a freshman in college, I realized quickly how much time I spend online. My advice for you is to set up a what I like to call a "downgrade hour" and eventually I turned it into a "downgrade weekend" when I felt comfortable enough. A downgrade hour is where I turn off my phone and electronics, or keep my phone across the room for work/family emergencies and chill out. Many times I will just sit and read, work on my homework with an actual piece of paper instead of reading a pdf file or just writing about careless things. It helped me so much that I am getting less attached to my phone. When it is not too cold outside, I love to just go on walks in the woods or in parks to enjoy nature, which I missed alot while I was on my phone. I missed the leaves changing color when it was turning from summer to fall and watching the lake freeze over in the mornings. Its the little things that you can enjoy without looking at a screen.
