I have taken numerous depression test and they all say the same thing. I have moderate depression. Should I ask my guardians to take me to someone I can actually trust? Depression runs in my family. My dad has it. My grandparents have it. Here’s the thing. I am good at hiding my thoughts.i grew up with my mom, who would get crazy if I sowed any sign of negative feelings. So that’s how I am. If I feel like crap, I put a smile on. If I feel like crying, I out a smile on. I keep thinking, “ Am I to young? Maybe there is another explanation?” I’m 13. Should it be happening? Even my friends have noticed me changing. Being a girl, my grandparents expect a lot of me. Whoever you are reading this, please help.

Try Eckhart Tolle, listen to him. Read The Power of Now, and/or A New Earth. They will help! Even if your mind says there is not point in listening to him, just do, overcome your thought and do. Please, Please, Please. This might save your life!!! <3 Love you!!!
ReplyAny online screening tools that you take are clearly biased, as you are the one filling them out. If you want an accurate assessment, see a clinical psychologist.
ReplyIt’s not only that though. When my dad took me and my siblings away from my mother, he had me see numerous therapists. Wether they wher school counselors or hirerd therapist. Thank you though.
Replyschool counselors aren't really very well trained in this area. A clinical psychologist can be of much more help.
ReplyI also really don’t want to talk to my grandparents about it.
