I dropped out of uni. I chose the wrong course. I hated being away from home. I hated not being with my friends. now I'm stuck at home regretting that decision even though I know in the long run it will be the best and bravest decision I ever make.

she cost me so much money deciding to drop out and she still expects me to fund her living whilst she finds a job. she wants to reapply next year but what if the same thing happens, I cant afford a repeat. even if shes at home she'll still miss her friends since they all moved away for uni too. I support her but she needs to sort out her life now herself she is an adult and I can only help her a certain amount

Give a lot of thought to whether you want to go back. Graduating from with a Bachelors degree usually means a much better income and more freedom, but consider what you're majoring in and make sure it's a good fit for you. Before you decide to re-apply, spend a couple hours researching the support that might be available to you in college. Most colleges have people that will help students that are struggling (tutors, etc) and will even help you find the help you need. There are always more resources that you're aware of if you look for them! Good luck!
