When I looked into the mirror I used to see more than just my simple familiar reflection
I saw a girl that was lost within a maze of emotion and exposure
I saw a girl that used to be so happy and oh, so innocent
A girl that had her happiness and innocence ripped from her tiny grasped hands
And ever since those days that this girl was deprived of two important innervations
She was left lost and broken
And now when I see the girl staring back at me I see a girl who overcame something
So appalling and mournful
A girl that not only strives to be stronger
Than she used to be , but to make the best
Of her lost innocence
Mirror mirror on the wall
Show me a girl who doesn’t let her scars
Depict her essence
