I used to have a really bad morning routine. I mean REALLY bad. I would sleep in until at least 9AM every morning, even on weekdays (I'm homeschooled so I can get away with it), then I would slowly drag myself out of bed. I would usually skip brushing my teeth and head straight to breakfast where I would find the most unhealthy options we had and eat as much as I could fit in before I felt full enough to stop. I would then go back upstairs in my PJs and start on school and do hardly anything and by lunch be practically falling asleep. That is, until I realized that I needed to change it. So I did. I wrote out a morning routine and put it in my phone as well so I would have two ways to view it, I set an alarm on my phone and on my Alexa and I did my research to figure out some ways to ensure that you wake up early. I saw a post about chanting the set wakeup time to yourself 10-15 times, and though I didn't believe it at first, I decided to try saying "I will wake up at 6AM" to myself 10 times in different volumes and different formats. Believe it or not, I woke up at 5:54AM. Don't believe me? Try it out yourself. I am very proud of whoever found this out and I hope to help others out as well.
