I have been looking for a new job for months. Took a break around the holidays and then reworked my resume at least three times. Went back to searching at the start of the new year and in two weeks landed two interviews. I was feeling great! Went to both interviews and felt great about them. The first one I did not get but it was ok. I still had the other option. I did still keep looking though not as hard, I was supposed to hear status on the position last week and I have heard absolutely nothing. So, I am guessing that I did not get that one either. I am tired of feeling like a loser and feeling so depressed. I just want to cry about it and feel sad about it all the time but I can't. I just had to let that out.

It's hard to apply for jobs when you want to hurt yourself

Don't worry you have got yourself a good experience from attending interviews. You will surely crack the next one with confidence. All the best. Something good will come your way.
ReplyWrite back and tell them that the least they could do is let you know that you didn't get the job, just as a common courtesy.
ReplyYou shouldn't have to guess that you didn't get the job. They should communicate by letter to you that you didn't get the job. What is wrong with these companies. It's rude. No decency. Tell them to stick their job up their arse.
ReplyJust a word of advice for when you go to your next interview (because you will have another)- get a business card or something from the person you interview with follow up your interview a day or so later with a "thank you for interviewing me" email. It is courteous and keeps you in their minds as a viable candidate.
Job hunting seriously sucks. I don't anyone would disagree. But keep your head up! You'll get there. ❤
