ReplyYou are successful when you reach where YOU want to be. You are successful when you become who YOU want to be and what kind of person you want to be. Not who someone tells you that you are or are not. When you stand up again and again and again. When you can look into the mirror and say you know what I like who I am!
ReplyI am: 1. old 2. Live with my wife. 3. Married for 41 years plus. 4. Have three grown children. 5. Three diploma's. 9. No promotions. 10. No awards.
Despite all this, I wasn't happy most of that time; so, no, I don't think of myself as "successful".
Guess we're both wrong. OK?

ReplyScrew what society says. At the end of the day if youre happy,fed,have a place to sleep,roof over your head then youre in good shape. I spent half my life in 2 dead end unappreciative jobs plus going through alot of painful experiences to learn this. If youre not satisfied you just gotta not give up trying.
ReplyI would consider success to be making a friend that I loved and helping someone.
