Do we ever really know what happiness is? (I made the first one just didnt have an account)

When you boil is down happiness is just a mixture of dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins, these chemicals are in every living being on the planet when all the chemicals mix together you get happy and happiness can make you feel like your on top of world, like nothing can affect you or that you just smile all the time
Now add a muse in to the mix that causes all these chemicals to mix together to form your happiness and its brilliant but what about if you lose that muse even only having it for a short time and you feel sadness then then happens when there is not enough dopamine and it can cause depression
Sadness is what can cause alot of people to doubt themselves, have no energy, not want to talk their friends/family, became a shut in or lead lead to more serious like suicide or a dependency on drugs or alcohol. Its is perfectly normal to feel sadness as it what we learn from and we must have sadness in our lives to make decisions for better or for the worse and after a while it gets better and you learn to live with what made you sad, you don't always for get it as must as you want to but you carry on.
The worse case of it all is that you don't carry on with your life and you stay with what made you sad and everytime you think about it makes your heartache and all you want to do is cry, you may even feeling that you don't want to tell your friends and family about how you feel because they wouldn't understand but they might and you should reach out to them but you don't and all you say is that your fine, your tired and you just smile but not smiling in the sense that you are happy but putting on a smile so people don't have to worry about you
This was supposed to be about happiness and how it makes everything great but sometimes with some people they don't get happiness and then just carry on with their normals life having loads of bad thing pill up on them and they can't seem to catch a break but what they do is put a mask on that has a smile on it so no body worrys about them
If you see a friend or a family member that is going through a lot check up on them by sending a message a first, of they don't reply don't give up they may just be mentally exhausted and doesn't have the energy to reply, show go and check on them in person and ask how they are but they might not want to talk about it so don't pressure them in to talking about it just be there with them and it can make things better
This paragraph may not make any sense at all. My grammer and spelling could be trouble through out this whole thing but there is no moral to this just ramdom stuff I needed to write down as I am having a hard time right now and Im wearing a mask.
