When I first unfolded my sight,
I couldn't noticed single fight.
As I grew,
In my mind things drew.
I asked questions that were never asked,
I received answers that were contrast.
This world felt full of simpleness,
Until they took away my innocence.
I was watched and I was judged,
I botched and my image was smudged.
They took it,
Wishing to throw in a deep pit.
They wanted me to live by their choice,
Compressing every sound of my voice.
This world felt full of simpleness,
Until they took away my innocence.
I stand in front of the mirror
The reflection made it clearer.
I realized I looked the same,
But they wanted me in frame.
I touched my reflection gently,
It gave me a current differently.
This world felt full of simpleness,
Until they took away my innocence.
In this world of insecurity,
Before I could perceive, I lost my purity.
It was different when I didnt understand,
They didnt push me to the sand.
Even now when it enters my brain,
I don't want to go back again.
This world felt full of simpleness,
Until they took away my innocence.
