Hi everyone, I am a Muslim. Consider me stupid or living under a rock but I'd like to know why almost everyone on the internet hates Islam or hates Muslims. Tell me your reasons. I'm not triggered or anything I'm just tryna figure out why we're called things like (pedo worshippers) and why y'all think Muslim females are (oppressed) into wearing hijab while it's not true most of the times. It's until people figure out that you're a Muslim that they start being really mean, like they completely forget that everyone is human. Not all of us are murderers who would stone others to death just because they're not doing what we do. Is that really hard for you to see? Allah tells us to be kind to everyone...so why not be kind to us? Why are Muslims the only stereotype they never think of correcting people's opinions about? It makes me feel confused and sad. A lot of Muslims are really nice people and not judgemental at all - so why all the hate?

I'm American, and we're fed a lot of propaganda concerning muslims. It's just another divide and conquer tactic. I personally dont have any hard feelings towards anyone regardless of their race, gender, sexual preferences, or religion, unless it's used to purposely hurt innocent people.
I try to be kind to everyone. I dont judge Muslim women for wearing hijab, any more than I judge a hindu woman for wearing a sari, or a catholic priest for wearing vestments.
I hope you can please accept my deepest apologies for the way you are treated by ignorant fools. Try your best not to take it personally, even though I know that's hard. People hate because that's what they were taught to do. Maybe when they wake up from the herd and decide to use their own mind, and foster a sense of compassion for all the living beings God created, we might have an easier time of it. But, please comfort yourself by knowing that the Most High Creator of All loves and adores you. When you have that love, it sustains you. God bless you brother or sister. May God's grace shine through every moment of your life. Always. ❤
ReplyBecause your culture supports terrorism.
ReplyYou should be ashamed of yourself. WTF do you think the American Military is on the soil of other nations? They are wreaking terror and havoc. Theres a reason why these veterans come home and get strung out on drugs, have PTSD, a host of other mental disorders, and commit suicide.
Because they're going to these countries and killing innocent men, women, and CHILDREN. And guess what, if things like that were done by a foreign military occupation in America, I'm willing to bet you would support "terrorism" if it meant you were defending your life and the lives of those you love. You're an idiot. And precisely the type of person that makes me ashamed to be American.
ReplyI can’t belive someone said something about terrorism that’s so mean. Well most Whites support gun violence and are the root cause of the cocaine epedemic
ReplyIt originally isn't meant to be. I, a Muslim, study Quran, and Quran has literally nothing that says we should kill or scare people just because they're not Muslims, people who do so, however, misunderstand Quran. So we Muslims don't even consider them Muslims, hence most of the native middle easterns don't support them. Not everyone knows this.
ReplyI think that the media has highlighted on crimes Muslims have done in the past way enough to have people afraid, and that's why people view Muslims as bad. Similarly, on the news, you see black-on-black crime all the time, and some people can't help but keep their distance from black people.
I think it's wrong that people judge based on the wrong of others. It's not the whole community that's wrong — that'd be a hasty generalization. It was just those specific people who did wrong, and it's wrong to accuse an entire race, community, whatever of the wrong of one person.
Replysorry that you had to go through that but once you feel this bad just remember that the opposite exist
ReplyAs a Christian, I kinda relate to this. Lots of people look at the obnoxious, rude, evil people who claim to be Christians and pass judgment on me based off of that. It sucks, but that's just kinda how it is. Same thing with Muslims/Islamic people. I used to flinch inwardly when I would pass a Middle Eastern person in traditional garb out on the street because I was afraid of them. My parents taught me correctly, but I had internalised the stories of 9/11 and was aware that my beliefs could be a source of conflict. That was when I was about ten years old. Now I'm nearly twice as old, and I (a male fashion fan) inwardly screech (in a good way) when I see a Middle Eastern person out in public. (I love their clothes. Actually, I like looking at clothes from every country/culture, so my current reaction is a good thing.) It's not fair that religious people end up getting bullied or shamed based off of stereotypes, but it just happens. I'm really sorry you have to deal with that. Your struggle is similar to mine, in the sense that Jesus teaches that me that I should be kind, although I often do not receive kindness in return. I don't know what the Quran teaches, but if you're doing the right thing (being kind to others) then the hate you're receiving is unjustified and wrong; just like bullying anyone else would be.
I wish you well.
ReplyPeople fear what they don't know. Close minded people need to be schooled on different ethnicities and culture. Tired of racist people.
