I feel like I've been in a constant state of sadness since my birthday, idk if it's cuz schools starting soon and last year I was so stressed i lost my period for 4 months, or what. Like I feel... Empty? Almost? I don't even know. I cleaned my room today and did all of my laundry, and I felt more happy after I did that stuff. I need more motivation, I barely do anything anymore, I just lay in bed and switch between the same 3 apps. I don't know what to do about going back to school, I'm starting high school and I just lost my motivation last december. I don't feel happy, I know I'm not depressed or anything like that but, idk what to do to help motivate myself again

Stress and Anxiety - What helped you?
I am a Type A person who has always had anxiety, I'm very serious and I'm trying to loosen up. I have SO much stuff happening between now and June 2020 and I am...
Nothing seems to be going wrong in your life to feel how you are feeling, but I completely understand where you're coming from. It has happened to me before. Find yourself a hobby that you know you will definitely keep up with. As stupid as it sounds, even going for walks help. Don't stress about school, I never liked school and having to travel almost 2 hours to go to school... it annoyed me. Keep yourself busy, it stops you from overthinking. The fact that you do nothing as well, triggers that thought of " im so lazy, I do nothing with my life, im always gonna be like this", this is so detrimental. Find things to do. Keep yourself occupied!
goodluckkkk and you got this x
Replywhat I was trying to get at incase you didn't fully understand is that, the more time you give yourself to do deep thinking, the more of an impact it has. Keeping yourself occupied lessens that chance of thinking/overthinking
ReplyOkay I might have some decent advice for you. Now, I was on that state. Literally all I did was eat pancakes, stay in my room and watch anime. No motivation. I got into kpop (yes, cringe) but that made it all better because I was motivated to do different stuff (fanfics, fanarts, songs, etc. Little stuff, but that was already good enough) And then I got into hard rock, edm, and found a lot of things that I wanted to do (violin, dancing, writing, photography). You know why it didn’t happen before that? Because I didn’t explore the possibilities. So just get up, start doing new stuff, enjoying new stuff, and surely enough if you’ll find something that you’ll like, somthing that’ll inspire and motivate you. That’s mostly how it works. at least for me.
