I hate them.
Not only do I hate long drawn out tests and hate tests in general, but pre-employment screening tests are: ineffective and invasive.
These so-called personality tests are medically invasive, yet they are so well-constructed that people don't really pause and think to ask if they're being given a medical exam for mental health issues.
My other problem is that they don't really tell the story of "you". The questions and answer sets don't represent "you" or "your" morals. They simply shoehorn you into agreeing or disagreeing on some degree of an opinion. Any slight agreement or disagreement on any question or situation, it will count against you.
Worse yet, they want you to be authentic while they force you to answer limited answers that don't really allow you to be authentic. How can an applicant be truthful to you and themselves if you're handing them a script that you the employer wrote?
That's my vent/rant. Sorry.
