So I don’t want to offend anyone who actually goes through anxiety, I’m so sorry if I do but since I can’t really share this with people I just wanted to do it here. I feel that I have an anxiety problem. i overthink so much that it’s making me insane. My panic mode literally gets ON the moment I recieve a notification which is so weird. My heart starts beating really loudly (in a bad way), and I feel sick. I know it’s a small thing and probably an irrelevant thing but I don’t know what to do- thousands of things like these make me feel anxious the whole day. If someone sends me something I overthink that too much. If someone says something I overthink that as well. I start feeling as if I should run or something. I feel very and extremely anxious about everything these days. The smallest of things. I remember I was anxious about something the whole day and at the end of the day I learnt that the thing I was being anxious about was actually a good thing. I literally started crying after that because I was like- ‘wow I felt anxious the whole day about something that wasnt bad.’ I just want to know what’s up with me. I feel anxious about my friend leaving me or literally a dream I had last night, or things like - was I rude? I shouldn’t have done this or that, or I shouldn’t have said that or made that face. I try to calm myself down but it doesn’t work sometimes. do you think I have anxiety or is it just me being stupid?

My Mom Makes me stressed sometimes
My mom constantly pesters me about things that I have not done. She is delusional I swear it. She has dreams and stuff and get so paranoid or worried about them...
I'm not a dr but it seems you have signs of anxiety. The issue about your heart loudly and feeling sick could be panic attacks but you'd better see a dr to know for sure imo. I live with anxiety. Some days its been so bad I would literally vomit. Panic attacks are no fun at all.
ReplyThat sucks. I do remember feeling nauseous at times when I’m anxious but they don’t happen very often. I would like to seek a dr and I tried talking to my parents about it but they paid no attention. Maybe I should try again I guess.
ReplySeeking therapy and seeing a psychologist is the best way to get help.

ReplyI actually kinda want to but I tried speaking to my parents and they paid no attention at all. Maybe I should try again or maybe I should wait for 2 years- then I’ll be 18 and can seek therapy.
ReplySeek therapy without the help of my parents I mean.
ReplyYou don't have to wait until you're 18. If you're under the age of 18, there might be programs that are offered at your school, but don't hesitate or feel ashamed to reach out.
You can always speak with a guidance counselor and social worker who may be available at your school. I'm sure that are more than willing to help you out in whatever you need. You can also speak with a trusted teacher, another trusted adult in your life that can help and point you to the right direction.
You need to be willing to go and ask for it. Don't be scared to reach out to people who are actually there to help and trustworthy.

ReplyIf things get out of hand I’ll try to reach out for help, the thing is I know that there are people who can help me but I am scared to come off as if I’m seeking attention and what if I don’t have it? Then i would just feel that I made a big deal out of nothing. Thank you for the advice though, I’ll try to get over this fear and reach out to someone in my school.
ReplyI'm too scared of the people at school. It's school that causes me anxiety. I already know that they are not nice. Apart from teachers (which is a horrible idea) and parents (which isn't viable), there are no other options.
Replyyou can reach out to a trusted friend if you feel that the teachers or your parents won’t be able to help you?

Replyyou aren't offending anyone at all. if anyone, it's people who get anxiety who understand. Like the other guest, I've had times where I'll throw up or need to go the toilet.
ReplyYep for sure
Replythat’s a relief. Thank you for understanding.
It doesn’t happen often but there have been times when I had to go to the toilet because I felt sick or nauseous because of being anxious.
