Cannabis is a medicine. Now that doesn’t mean everyone young and old should go roll a joint or hit a bong. Weed isn’t for everyone. From personal experience I’ve learned a lot about cannabis and have used it long enough that I have a good understanding of its positives and negatives. I would like to make it very clear that there is a huge difference between using and abusing. As someone who has abused cannabis at times I can confidently tell you it isn’t worth the withdrawal. Personally I get very irritable without cannabis. Is this an addiction though? No. It is a dependence. There is never any craving for weed in most people’s cases. I’ve had a nicotine addiction and it is completely different than cannabis dependency. I have a theory that there is small amounts of evidence of. I believe cannabis can assist with breaking addiction. I was able to quit nicotine in an instant with the assistance of cannabis. I truly believe if used properly it can help. Does anybody agree or have any common experiences?

I was able to kick nicotine cold turkey. Weed i never had any addiction to. I even quit caffeine once. The pain pills (opiates) were the worst thing withdrawal wise ive ever experienced. I was able to taper down and off with the help of my Higher power and benzos. I never thought a little pill could give such miserable irritable flu like withdrawal and diarrhea. I was on them for a good at least 13 years or so. I once thought before i ever took one...eh its all in your head. WRONG. Thats only part of it psychologically the others the physical. Theyre not worth getting addicted to...they suck coming off of after longterm use.
ReplyBro. If I can quit smoking weed, so can you. I used to smoke it all day everyday. I was a useless vegetable because of that. Without weed life is great. There is actual movement going on and my brain and body is by far definitely better. I can write you a long post but no. I won't. And yes I've also quit nicotine. It was very easy for me.
ReplyI agree . Myself when I smoke bud I wouldn't even think about a cigarette.. but your right saying when you abuse cannabis that the withdrawls are heavy. Lately though I've been trying to just smoke to relax and im glad it's not an everyday thing anymore . But I find I can do a lot more and be a lot more creative with cannabis so it's something I will always use and I accepted that long ago . Peace out
ReplyIt isn't but okay.
ReplyI had a neighbour who had smoked weed for years and he spoke to himself out loud in different voices. When he came off it he was angry. However, apparently weed has two components and when it's grown outside one component is stronger than the other to protect the plant from the sun, and this weed causes psychiatric ailments. But when weed is grown inside the other component becomes stronger and this weed is medicinal.
