so I haven't self harmed in about 2 1/2- 3 months. I was doing a lot better mentally so I thought to my self "I'm getting better. I don't want to hurt myself anymore" and i thought i was done for good. But a couple weeks ago, life hit me like a train wreck and i was crying myself asleep for a week. it felt like i couldn't breathe and one night, the pain just became to much to bare and I started self harming again. I was cutting. I have a really low pain tolerance so they weren't going that deep but, i was still cutting. i haven't done it again since then but my state of mind just hasn't gotten better and I'm really scared of when I'll do it again and if i'll do it harder.

Celebrate Recovery.
It's a mental illness and addiction center. It uses christian principals because it's a faith-based 12 step program. But non religious or anti religious are welcome. I recommend this group because i know they help and are genuine + many local branches around the US (and i think internationally)
please attend something like a group- so u can make friends and help sustain your healing...
I hope this helps...

ReplyThis sounds similar to a drug addict relapsing. Just try your best not to do it and if it becomes a problem see a therapist.
