My situation

I feel like everyone in my community looks down on me and my family. My dad died when I was seven and was well known for how handsome and athletic he was. Apparently, he was so cool and good looking that when my mom and him started dating, a ton of girls hated her because of it. I’m his only son and don’t play any sports, but I hear and see things about them all the time so it makes me feel stupid and inferior. I’m pretty chubby and I’m 16 and haven’t kissed a girl yet, I don’t have an avenue to talk to them. I feel like all my aunts and uncles are disappointed in me and they never go out of their way to talk to me, nobody in my family really does besides my mom and sisters. I feel like my only escape from this and finally get people to see me as something other than beneath them is to become a comedian, a dream of mine. Nobody will probably ever see this, but it was nice to get these thought out

Everyone is different in their own ways and although it's difficult, because he is your father, you should try not to compare yourself to him. Everyone is beautiful to each their own and you are too. If no one else around you sees that, the most important thing is that you and the people who love you sees and feels that. You are loved and you are not beneath anyone; remember that.
ReplyYou are comparing yourself to your dad and there is no need to. Be yourself and treat your uncles and aunts the way they treat you. Don't bother about them. Everything isn't about dating loads of girls. Just meeting one nice good girl who you like and having her like you is more than enough. All the best with your comedian career.
