Annoying Dinner Plans

2 years ago · 1 · Humour

310

The sun was setting

The light showers wetting

The window sills, they kept on rattling

Baby paid no mind, it kept on prattling

In its pram, the cooker kept on whistling

Onward to an early dinner, the sausages sizzling

In the pan, while mommy kept on cursing

At the splattering oil, granny kept on pursing

Her lips in disapproval, sister kept on simpering

At her mister, his distress evident in his whimpering

Bound by his word to take his meat with daddy

Now wishing himself boxed within the tool caddy
