I feel this immense weight on me. As if the entire world is against me. My beliefs, thoughts, dreams. It feels like I share these with no one. I think to myself is there anyone else in the world who thinks the way I do? I've been depressed for so long. Going on 8 years. I see no way out. Most of the time it's easy to ignore. I'm used to the feeling of depression. In fact I don't remember how to feel any different. However some nights it hits hard. I remind myself how alone I am, how far I've fallen into this darkness. I usually don't fall asleep til 4 or 5 AM now. I don't have any friends. Legit zero. Haven't hung out with someone since high school 5 years ago. I don't even know how to socialize anymore. I've effectively socially distanced for 8 years. People thought a few months was bad, imagine how. I feel. It's my own fault which makes me feel even even more shitty. I just don't see a end in the way I feel. I constantly feel like shit. I try so hard to function and live with it, I just don't know how much longer I can keep it up.

You can. It hurts and you feel yourself invisible sometimes but, you have to continue this.
You can socialize, you might think you can’t but you can. Because we need each other on some level.
Your life and path is hard but you will go through this.

Life is hard... But please, keep your strength together to stay alive, and don't give up yourself just yet. 😊 Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcoming of it. I hope you will be okay. ❤❤❤
ReplyIts all about the baby steps, maybe asking someone at the bus stop how long they've been waiting? Going clothes shopping and someone looks great trying on clothes compliment them?
When you've built up confidence a little more, look into groups that you can join who have a similar hobby as you? Get a job (new job?) In retail where your being forced to jump out of your comfort zone,
You can do this, its okay to have bad days, weeks and even years, but now you've acknowledged and accepted, you can start to move on. That is actually the hardest step,
