So I have anxiety, and I’m just a regular human with normal fears. But I’ve just found it so hard to deal with them or found ways to have other people help me calm down and stuff.
Like other people seem to find peace when they’re told that everything will be okay. But personally I’m aware everything will be okay and being told that doesn’t help.
And sometimes people like being told that they’re not alone in their problems. But I’m fully aware of that, like it doesn’t reassure me at all.
Or I’ve always had past therapists say “you’re in control of the situation” which has never, ever helped. Like I’m not in control of every single thing on the planet, I’m only in control of how I respond but other people aren’t always predictable so I have to come up with something off the top of my head which is so hard when I’m already in such a frazzled state that I can barely do anything.
I just don’t understand how other people do it. And I refuse to take medication, paying for something I didn’t ask to have isn’t morally right. Plus I believe I can overcome my anxiety disorders on my own.
I would also like to know how to help other people when they are anxious or scared, I’m not good at it and I would like to be. If anyone has advice I would love to hear it :)

ReplyIt's like hearing your silent thoughts, its same for all of us. Sometimes penning it down weighs it down. You need to go out more, do more physical activities but go for some trips, it will clear your mind. One more thing I can suggest is do some meditation, I do it sometimes and it does feel better
