I am COVID-19 positive while I'm just staying at home. I have mild symptoms. Then, after one week being positive, there's a weird lump in my upper right bikini line under skin. It's pea-size. After another week, it became larger and more painful. Then, there's another small lump in my upper left bikini line. It now restricts my movement. I have trouble sitting and standing. It's hot. And, I also gained A LOT of weight in this short span of time. I have so much pimples. I feel ugly. I have fever now and chills. I feel sad and anxious and scared. I don't want to die yet. I'm afraid of what will happen to me. I am afraid of the hospital bills. It will just burden my family if I need to undergo hospitalizations. I am afraid. Does God hate me? I hope everything's okay. I am so afraid and I'm crumbling now.

You're not going to die for starters. It sounds like you may need to treat those in grown hairs though.
They're right on your bikini line, so I imagine you've kept that area hair free, right? Which means if you shaved wrong, ingrown hair. Which do tend to get rather sensitive when they're in certain areas, like underarms, thighs and other areas where skin tends to fold.
As for the weight, chances are you've been rather inactive considering you recently got a positive test result. Right? 14 day quarantine minimum?
Could be a variety of issues, depending on what all has changed for you. Have you started eating more greasy, fried foods/sugary foods, sweets or candies/more fast food or other various changes to diet?
Have you stopped any exercise routines recently? Are you currently depressed? (Yes, this can cause weight gain), are you experiencing severe stress? (Judging from your post, you sound extremely stressed out and that can also cause weight gain)
So you see, there are other factors beyond just covid 19. I know that's the big scare and all, but don't attribute everything to it.
ReplyThank you so much. It hits me hard. You dropped the truth bomb. Most of these are true except on the ingrown hair. My doctor said it's a swollen lymph node and prescribed me antibiotics for a week. If it severed, I need to do physical examinations to know whether it's the lymph or the intestine or the reproductive system.
I am so stressed. I didn't change diet though. I just stopped my physical activity because of my sulking and all. But, sincerely, thank you for telling me what I need to hear.
ReplyThis is not a medical site so you really need to see a doctor straight away and stop worrying about hospital bills and being a burden to your family. It is your health that matters. Of course God doesn't hate you. He loves you and wants the best for you so keep your faith and trust in Him.
ReplyGod does not hate you! You will get through this!
ReplyIf you have medical insurance, go to the hospital.
Your life is worth more than the expenses it owes.
God does not hate you, God loves everyone who is faithful to him. So long as you have faith and fight through it, you will live this. God let us create modern medicine for a reason. Use it as much to your advantage as you can.
See the doctor, ask them what medications to use, and most importantly, hold on to what God has provided.
