(I do not need anymore optimistic realistic advice from people. Let me choose for myself, even for my last moments)
so, I'm set on dying in two years. as camouflage, how do i find motivation to continue functioning like normal human being? i've been halting my studies and entertaining myself with internet videos and memes instead of you know, doing the former choice as I think it doesn't matter anymore since I'm gonna kill myself anyway.
TL;DR: "How to trick yourself in being motivated even though you've basically given up?"
i hope someone could give me a straightforward answer. Thank you so much. I apologize if the introductory note comes across as insulting. I just dont want people flooding me with advice anymore because I want to die and that is my choice. I hope you understand.

ReplyMight as well entertain yourself to the fullest with what will make you enjoy life instead of being dragged down by the "norms" of life. Honestly. I never studied. Graduated. Did what I liked to the fullest I could, found people I love, and choose to live to make my life and their life fun and comfortable. I hope within those 2 yrs of finding what makes you motivated and happy, will ultimately change your mind ^^
ReplyHonestly... hate you’re idea but if you are going to do it... save up 1000-2000 dollars and leave. Go explore the world. Stay at hostiles. Go on treks. Meet new people. Discover new cultures and religions. Eat new foods. Fuck people. Do everything you can before you go. Do all the dangerous things you could never do when you held onto life. Hopefully that will give you a new respect for life, if not... I hope you enjoy every second leading up to it!
ReplyYou only live once. What I’ve learned during my 22 years here, is to enjoy every moment, treasure people who chose to stay by my side. This pandemic taught me a lot. Saw people struggling, losing someone they loved, losing jobs, do everything to survive. And this pandemic taught me to value the life that I have, my family and the strangers here who helped me and listen to my nonsense posts. It’s up to you how you’ll see things. It’s about your perspective. Loving yourself is the best choice. When you learn to love the person you are, embrace your problems and face your fears, you’ll see all the reasons to fight and continue this battle you chose. Your mind is so powerful. It’s all in your mind. What’s on it, you’ll attract.
