Ever since I was young, I've been thinking about my purpose here on earth. I thought about what I do everyday and it's making people laugh with my silly jokes. I smile at them and laugh with them. Therefore, I thought that is my purpose. I'm here to make people happy.
As I grew up, my mental health gets messier and messier. I don't smile at people, I don't laugh with them anymore. I felt lost and valueless. I have no purpose anymore, I don't have a reason to be here. I'm hurting people around me and making them worry about me. I pushed them away because I can't stand seeing them in the dark with me.
Everything was a lie. I'm not here to make people happy. I'm here to be here... for them. I'm here to make them feel loved, to make them feel accepted. I'm here to laugh with them, I'm here to cry with them. I'm here when you're happy, I'll be here when you're sad. Whoever you are, I'm here and I accept you.
