Would anyone wanna learn about ADHD, Anxiety, Anger Issues, Depression, Medication, or Therapy. and like how to interact and talk with people who have these problems? I would really enjoy educating people on my life and my different brain! I'm an open book and not easily offended at all, well unless you tell me my problems aren't real or that I'm the r slur.

ReplyHow do you deal with your anger? I have problem in dealing with my anger I end up spoiling everything.
ReplyHaha. My anger is one of my harder things to control. For me, my problem is that whenever I feel some sort of negative emotion, I automatically transform it into Anger because I believe, it's easier to deal with. I just have to really think about the starting place of my anger and if that's really the emotion I'm feeling. Usually I'm actually just Sad or Embarressed about something and then I force myself to feel that emotion instead of Anger. It helps me keep everything in order yk?
ReplyOh. Ig that's what I do too. Due to some embarrassment and sadness I feel angry. Haha I feel relieved coz I'm being honest to myself now. I always hide under other emotions and never deal with real problem. Btw do you know how did you came to know you have ADHD?
ReplyThat's something a lot of people tend to do, you aren't alone. I discovered I have ADHD about 3 years ago. Mind you, that's when I was officially diagnosed. I showed symptoms since I was like 8. What started the whole process was the fact that my mother became worried. She saw that when she gave me a list of things to do ( make bed, shower, brush teeth, read, wash face etc.) I'd have to keep having her repeat them, I'd forget what the rest were after I finished the first 2. That's what started the whole thing and as I've learned more about it, I've seen other symptoms that became distinct in my life.
ReplyOh so that were the first symptoms. Actually I have a little cousin brother he's just 8 but he has is not usual 8 year old kid. I mean he knows what he needs to do, he knows what he studies and knows how to react in different situation but there are times when he'll act so different. For eg he forgets to brush his teeth and take bath after waking up, he knows everything he studies but never answers questions when teacher asks him, he doesn't react a bit when he gets scolds for being stubborn or his tantrums. He has difficulty in speaking too. Overall he is very nice kid but these things make him little different. He always needs reminder from someone to brush his teeth and complete his homework. He's smart and good at studies but never answers when teachers questions. Even if it's his exam and teacher asks him something he never speaks up. He does mischief in class and always gives wrong answer even though he knows the correct answer. (I'm sorry if I vented a lot about him actually we were worried about him so)
ReplyHow is your anger easier to deal with? I wish mine was. It's a problem for me despite trying multiple coping mechanisms.
ReplyWhat is the root of most of your anger issues? Can you name that?
Replyi think i have adhd but i was wondering if racing thoughts were a part of adhd? sometimes when im texting friends i'll jump from topic to topic in mere seconds before they even have time to respond
ReplyPeople experience ADHD in so many different ways, nobody's experience is like the next. Are you a female or male? Different genders experience different symptoms. Men are most likely to become hyper and Women are more likely to have problems focusing. For me, as a teenage female, racing thoughts are something I go through.
Replyim afab (im nb) but thats interesting to hear that different sexes experience different symptoms! i have very bad focusing issues like you mentioned but racing thoughts really are a nuisance to me because i cant think clearly on one thing at a time
ReplyYea. I for one, get symptoms that both men and women get. I'm a hyper person who has trouble focusing. If I were you, I'd research into the diffrence between ADHD and ADD, they are similar with a few differences!
