I just cut for the first time in four years and I'm scared of being caught

My wife and I got married two years ago after dating for five years before that. While she was at work today, I went to the bathroom, found my hidden stash of razorblades that I've kept for four years. I put two cuts on my leg, thinking that would be subtle enough that they wouldn't be noticeable but when I saw the blood flowing, and when the initial high wore off, I realized how wrong I was. She gets home soon and I am so scared she'll notice when we go to bed tonight.

Ex Shenanigans
So me and an ex broke up back in October. We talked on and off but he mostly kept saying that we wouldn't work out and stuff. But he kept talking with me and I...
Hey, are you okay?
ReplyHey, it sounds like you’re going through a rough patch in your life. But cutting isn’t the answer. Cutting doesn’t solve problems, it creates problems (like tetanus and blood loss). I think that it will be a good thing if she finds out. That way, whatever you’re going through right now, you don’t have to go through it alone, and you don’t have to cut yourself.
I think that you should tell her that you cut yourself. Then you will have her and you can go from there.
I wish you the best of luck, and that things turn out all right for you.
P.S. Please get rid of the blades, as having them there will make you want to use them.
ReplyJust be straight with her. If she's really your wife she needs to understand your problems also. If she really cares she'll be concerned and sympathetic towards trying to help you stop. What evers bothering you you should be able to confide in her. If not somebody else. I get how it is I used to cut also. I hid it well. Throw the blades out. Be straight with her tell her the truth. Hope it works out well and your able to stop also. It's a bad cycle to be in but you can stop.
ReplyI think it doesn't matter what you have in life, career, house, family and friends, we all get sad.
ReplyThat's True 😔 Everyone has his own sad story .
