(Sorry about my grammar/spelling. My school sucks at teaching us about that stuff.)
This is gonna sound so innocent and childlike, I know. But it's still amazing to think about. And I promise to myself, I will work as hard as possible to get there. I will learn all I can about living on my own. I also promise that next year, after things have settled (Because of covid) I will become the best student I can be. I will also try to excercise/practice self care more often, and eat healthier in order to keep stress levels low.
And yes, I'm lesbian. Go away homophobes.
In the future, I'll probably stay in my current state for college, as things are quite inexpensive here. It might sound stupid, but I plan on doing covers on YouTube (or whatever popular social medias there are in the future) as a way of getting by. It's easy for me, and by then I'll be done with all my music education, so I'll know everything there is. What will I study for? Theater. I love musical theater, and unless my love for it goes away, I'll keep doing it. I'll do my best in the rest of my school's plays/musicals, so that I get all the experience needed.
Then, once I have enough money, I can move into a house instead of living in dorms. Or an apartment if I end up liking the city.
One state I have my eye on is New York. There are lots of theaters, it's very safe for LGBT indivuals (especially West Village). Speaking of West Village, it sounds amazing! It's got low crime rates, safe for women, and sounds very charming. The only problem is, the state of New York is super expensive... and I might not like city life. But that's okay. I'll do my best to find a good place, New York or not.
Things may change, as my future is far ahead, but that's fine. I'll try to keep up with how expensive states are and always use the latest sources.
I just wish it didn't seem like my future was so far away, and that I had someone to talk to about this.
