I remain stable in my habitation pod. A small fracture has been letting in dangerous amounts of methane and carbon monoxide. I've had to resort to wearing my breathing apparatus at all times.
The walls and technology around me have grown somewhat stale after almost 2 years in isolation on the Martian surface. Perserverance has kept me up-to-date on the basics, weather, atmosphere and base level radiation. Luckily, my suit was designed to absorb the majority of it before I do.
When I came here, I was told there would be others. But no one ever came... I've never had much trouble being on my own, but this is different. I'm lucky I have all this computer crap around to keep me busy and enough rations to last pretty much the rest of my days.
It doesn't get cold though and today I'll be taking a look at that fracture and getting it repaired. The fracture occurred on a seam, so whoever did the welding... great job.
