We're in the little majestic cottage, deep in the old spruce laced forest. There's nothing outside except vast mountains of frozen wonder. It's the middle of Winter, the wind howls through the trees like a spirit lost in time. With a new moon it's as dark as pitch.
The only light is from the dying burning embers in the fireplace. I see you in the shadow, it's only you and me. There's some rustling of the leaves outside, perhaps the wind. Don't worry, you're here safe with me. You hop in my lap and I touch your soft gentle face.
I pull the old wool blanket over us and I tell you that you're my best friend. You stretch out and relax, I pull you closer and stroke your long fur covered ears. You're my bunny and I love you. You make my life happier. We drift off to sleep, together forever snuggling.
