When I was a child I remember reading a pamphlet that maintained that people who go to war would go to hell.
Upon reflection, I believe that if people did not harbor this sort of mentality then war would not exist and nobody would go to hell.
War is the product of speculative preemptive action.
Hell is not a violation from another, hell is feeling evil after having violated.
Satan is the memory of oneself in the past (for those who arbitrate violence).
The very attempt to send another to hell sends oneself there.
Indeed, not all who enter warfare are of the highest integrity nor have the best of interests in mind.
However, defending others, in the immediate environment, from being violated is the very base precept of every religion and government and those who uphold their own integrity most certainly are not going to hell.
The very same people who levy abuse through speculation as an attempt to send another to hell are they themselves hellbound.
The solution is to avoid the violation of another in the immediate environment.
Only god can pass judgement, god will let you know through your own memory (do you remember abusing anyone?).
