Down an unwinding road,
One long bus ride home,
Shadowing trees stretched across the pavement,
Although the sun's glare remains impatient,
Sometimes I am that sun, ever relentless,
For my remorse is quite the menace,
But he paved my path to forgive,
Even though it's been a long journey,
I have yet to truly live,
