I’m so annoyed every time my bf and I leave for vacation or just leave to go to work my sister and brother in law invade our room and touch/take our things! I’ve talked to my bf about it and he doesn’t see it as a danger but that’s my biggest pet peeve! I’ve never even opened their room door to see what they have. I know they are doing it because our little nephew came over yesterday and something in our room was gone and he had it. They are the only ones living with us and I felt they could have asked me for it instead of invading our privacy. On top of that, the other day we walked into a pile of junk near our room. Apparently they are holding items for someone that got evicted and now the space before our room is completely cluttered! All of these things happen when we are not present and my bf just seems to not even be bothered. I’m so annoyed to this point! He thinks I’m crazy but I find it so frustrating because something is always missing literally biweekly! Idk what to do or say anymore. I try my best to avoid confrontation but I’m so so sick of it! We’re not moving until next year so that’s definitely not a solution

If you can't talk to these people about invading your privacy at least write a note to them and leave it on their door.
ReplyYou say you cannot move out till next year. If this is financial related issue, if you think you can afford to lose money for moving out early, I'd say use that option as in this scenario the lost money will provide some peace for you. If this is not an option, then lock your door. If you do not have a lock, get one. If you do not respect them, do not talk to them too.
