I promise I only need one conversation with you! Me and my friends noticed a change in my usually half-dead attitude a few months back, it lasted about a week and a half, I was really jittery and hyped up but not happy exactly. It kind of scared me and one of my friends was really worried, he said I was acting like his cousin who's bipolar. I didn't really know that much about bipolar disorder so I looked it up and It does seem to me like I might have it, apparently what I had is called a manic epesode.
I want to have a conversation with someone who knows what they're talking about who can maby even give me (close to) a diagnosis? I promise I won't bother you a lot I just want clarity

ReplyAssessing indirectly, your symptoms sound similar to cases I have encountered. I recommend looking into exercises, monitoring meals and nutrition for sufficient intake of needed minerals and vitamins, monitor sleep durations, keep track of what starts feelings of imbalance (rushing thoughts, unusual fixations that are obstructive to daily life, feelings of spontaneous panic), and consider strategies for stress management. A site you may find helpful is "Psychology Today" for further insight. Professional consultation should be considered if the above methods are ineffective after at least a week. Take your time, and remember that life can be had to the fullest in all circumstances.
