hi, i was diagnosed with adhd when i was little and was on meds for it for several years. now ive been off them for couple of years too but i struggle a lot with academics and chores. like even if i know i have a deadline i can focus at all. i cant find the motivation to do important asignments even if i know its important. i try forcing myself to do it but i cant do more than 30 minutes and then get distracted and loose motivation to do it for a while. feels like just trying to put effort drains my energy in every way. idk if the meds helped much when i was little but i remember being somwhat more productive or retained info easier, i remember i would get headaches a lot, couldnt sleep or eat much when i had them.
i wanna try to avoid getting back on the meds and leave them as last resort.
any advise on how to deal with this would help.
thankius!

Hi, I know it is said often but meditation really helps you understand your thoughts better. It helped me grow my ability to remain calm and focus. You could set a timer for 30 minutes, and every 30 minutes you can do something fun for 10 minutes, like eat something or play a game or something, then return back to studying after 10 minutes and study for another 30 min, etc
