Where to start? I'm anxious as hell because I'm about to apply to this job and the thought of going through the process is scaring me as hell and making me anxious. The last time I had to deal with this was in 2017 and it was not a good experience. I mean I got the job and was working there until the start of covid but I almost had an anxiety attack during my interview. It's been a year and I have been stuck and depressed to be honest and now that I'm going to have to go through it again....makes me want to back out. It's entry level and an acquaintance made me aware of the position but Why do i feel like this? Imposter syndrome, what happens If i get and more stuff just weighing on my mind. And don't get me started about the interview. Ive only got this one job so my resume isn't going to be that diverse. what If we have a group interview? assuming I get an interview...oh god. Answering questions like tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses, what do i bring to the table and stuff about the job I know nothing about. I feel like I could do this but the lack of self confidence is making sabotaging myself. Having eyes on me while i do my job, it's like each day is a battle and I'm tired... but I might have to do this again

First you have to know what you are going to say. each and every thing! You should predict what they are going to ask you and practice on the things you are going to say. This will give you confidence. if there is something you dont know about, a sudden question will make you all messed up. So get as full knowledge on what the interview is about and get the job.
ReplyJust pretend that everyone else is invisible and you are practicing in your room.
ReplyWrite down about 5 questions you want answered about the position and take them with you. Shortly after introductions and before you get started, say that you have them with you and ask if it will be OK to raise them at the end if they don't get addressed earlier. You may also say that interviews make you a little nervous but that you know you can be a valued employee. The interviewer most likely will be impressed with your initiative and this will calm your nerves a bit.
You will do just fine.
