Banned from Facebook for three days because I "promoted self harm." I posted a picture of me being silly at work, pretending to drink from a bottle of dish soap. The cap was closed! The only "self harm" to come from that is you'll yak before you even come close to chugging that bottle! I got smacked for it twice before for posting a picture of a kid putting a fork in an outlet, and then another time for a picture of a cartoon lady's head popping off. It's all silliness and it's like they think I'm trying to kill myself? Who are these people running it?! If I was truly self harming and I was cut off from such a network like that, wouldn't this do more harm than good? All it's done has made me sad because I can't share my pictures and feelings. So I'm going to spend the next three days reporting pictures of anyone holding a rope, wearing a necktie, or holding anything sharp and pointy. They could hurt themselves! And certainly I'm reporting anyone pretending to consume anything that isn't food. They're definitely suicidal and need help.

Is it wrong to "stalk" someone online?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain things like drinking bleach and eating tide pods have both been an issue in the recent past.
I can see why Facebook wouldn't want your "humor" on their website.
ReplyIt was obvious it was a joke. Everyone "haha'd" it. This is the fault of people who need trigger warnings on everything.
ReplyTo your credit, at least it's just dish soap. I remember being a small child, getting my mouth washed out with soap.
Kinda makes you wonder what effect that had on people. Though I will say this, it's of no loss to be banned from Facebook. They need to be shut down anyway.
I'd be willing to bet you don't even know how they censor you under your nose.
