My cat went missing today. I haven't seen him since yesterday and I've checked all over my house. It is really hot today, 108 degrees Fahrenheit, and I'm so scared for him. My dad went out to mow the lawn and I'm afraid that my cat ran outside, saw the lawn mower, and ran far away without thinking. He is afraid of anything on wheels.
My cat always cries in the mornings and this morning he was totally silent. It is now 7 p.m. and I have not heard anything from him.
My cat is my sole purpose for living. He is not just a pet to me, he is my whole universe and I love him to death. I got my cat after a suicide attempt and he turned my life around. I don't think I can live at all without him. I don't want to feel that way again. I miss my cat so much.

:( If you can, ask your neighbours and let them know your cat is missing. I hope everyone can leave some water out on the porch or driveway/garage if your cat is around. I hope you find him soon!
ReplyThank you so so much. I will
ReplyChances are your cat isn't too far. Make sure to check in little places, especially shaded areas. If you've got a porch or anything like that or any kinds of small ditches near the side of your home at all.
If your baby had a favorite toy or favorite food, try setting it out front and keep a watch out for him.
Make sure he's not inside too. Any kinds of spaces like the back sides of dressers or behind the fridge. Cats can get into really tight spots.
ReplyJingle so kibble in a bowl. I have two kittens and that seems to work. They hide really well even sometimes in the couch. I hope you find him soon. <3 I totally understand the special bond with a pet.
Replyi also lost my cat a few weeks ago due to brain cancer.
all i can tell you is that it does get better eventually. you kitty would want you to live your best life. cry and accept the pain. it is how you cope. i always bake when i am sad. after a few days of accepting the pain, try to distract yourself by doing new things like drawing or learning to sew. handle it almost like a break up. i am so sorry that you are going through this. all my love.
always here for you <3
