I’m 15 and about a month ago my friend came over to my house. She was smoking pot and I decided to try some. After she left 2 days later my moms a nurse and she saw that I had strep and I had to tell her how I got it. My mom wasn’t home at the time (her mom knew.) my mom had to tell her mom and my friend questioned me about it through iMessage. She said her mom wouldn’t let us hangout anymore but her mom told my mom it’s perfectly fine as long as an adult is home now. I asked if she was still grounded 1-2 weeks later and she said yeah but I saw her Snapchat story and she was with her friends. I don’t know how to talk to her or how to ask if we can hangout at her house. I don’t know if my relationship is ruined with her. We’ve been friends for 5 years. I have only one other friend who’s constantly with her boyfriend and bad at responding and my mom doesn’t like her mom. How do I fix this and how can I make more friends during the summer?

I would text your friend and say something like "Sorry if I got you in trouble! Do you want to hang out sometime? I miss you". For making friends, maybe try doing a sport or some sort of class (acting, art, instrument, cooking, etc.) and just introduce yourself to some people. I'm not super outgoing, but I try to fake it in those situations. I just pretend that I'm the popular girl in some silly high school movie. Hope this helps!
ReplyDon't hang out with kids that is a bad influence for you. Let go since sh left you hanging because of that reason. In life, people come and go. The good ones will stay.
