Its my birthday week and I am feeling the worst i can . Lately I have been feeling really bad about myself, my body image, social life everything.
I see these pretty looking girls with great body ( obviously they must have worked hard for it ) hanging out with their friends, boyfriend and being hapoy , Always being the centre of attention. While on the other side Its me just siting whole day at my home struggling with my studies.
I always feel bad when I see other people doing the great ( Its not that I hate them at all) it is just that i end up comparing myself with them and just end up feeling really bad about myself . Its one of the reason why I don't even use insta or any other social media .. I just have to use WhatsApp because I get study related notifications there ... I know I shouldn't be envious of them , I shouldn't compare myself with them but i can't help but do it .
How should I deal with it ? I really hate this feeling..

ReplyI guess it would be fair if we compare ourself with yourself yesterday, even if it's about the slightest amount of self-improvement. Because others are not in your condition and you are not in their condition either..
ReplyFocus on yourself instead ~~ the things that you've been grateful for and achievements ( even it just small or what). Write the things the you want to improve in yourself and act on it.
I can relate to this and now I'm still dealing with it.
Sometimes I do some meditation and listening to podcast (avoiding comparing to others & about loving yourself)
Writing what you feel and being true to yourself, will also help.
And you should love yourself as well and do what will make you happy &grow, in this way ~ things will go to its place ( the life you wanted to be)
