I've drawn pictures since I was a child. Growing up, I've always wanted to be an artist but was discouraged by my parents because it wasn't a money maker.
I ended up listening to them and went into computers for college. I failed at it. I wasn't getting bad marks or anything, I just gave up on it because it wasn't something that I wanted to do in the first place. I do enjoy it on the side as a hobby though.
After dropping out of college, I worked in computers with my uncle in laws computer company. It was play, but I did lost interest and quit eventually.
I then worked at a Lube auto shop and worked on cars for half a year. Started to lose interest in that as well and quit.
I got desperate for money then started doing over eats delivery. It was good money in the mean time but it started to dwindle and my car was taking a beating so I stopped doing that too.
I then took up voice acting as a hobby and got a pro demo done. I got some work done with it and got some money but I started to lose interest in it as well and gave up on it.
I then took up field recording as a hobby and made a website and everything. I managed to sign a contract and got paid for it. But like all other things, I started to lose interest in it as well and really started slacking on it.
It all comes back to my art. Throughout my life, I've always drawn in between events or whenever I feel like it. But I get this deep feeling that it is something that I'm meant to do.
I'm getting paid a really low amount now from my contract and really don't feel like going back to a normal job. I just feel stuck and like I'm too late at making a living doing what I love to do, which is art.

My advice is
If you like to draw, approach animations companies and show them your work. Linkedin is an amazing website to network with people in your area and get in touch with them. You can also make a page on instagram and show your skills and that will increase your skills and in the meantime you will find some people who appreciate your art.
There is always a way if you want to achieve something.
Walt Disney was rejected by a comic publisher.
J.K.Rowling was rejected by many publishers until one small publishing company accepted Harry Potter series.
Take care of your mental health. Do not lose interest in life. You need a job to feed yourself and have a roof to sleep at night. In the free time you need to hustle harder. If you work on yourself and what you want to do by sacrificing your sleep for one year, I bet nobody can stop you.
I bet if you want to succeed in your talent, you need to sleep less and improve on it. There is a chinese saying "talented people get help from others". And when your interest lies in your hobbies i.e, art in your case, excel in that and I am sure you will.
Good luck for your future!
My best wishes are with you
