I feel lonely despite having many people with me. I have someone I want to vent to, we're really close but there seems to be a line between us. I feel like if I ever vent to them, they'll think I'm weird and won't treat me the same again. I feel alone in this wide world.

ReplyI get that, I feel lonely in a room with people too at times, sometimes even when talking to friends.
But seeing that you guys seem to be very close I wouldn't see a reason for you not to vent to them. Not only will it help and take some weight off your shoulders, but you might also find "your favourite human" in them, despite the world being a cold place sometimes. Even if that's not the case, at least you're not gonna be bothered thinking about the "what if". Sometimes risks are what you have to take.
Either way, I wish you a lot of luck x
ReplyShit, I know exactly what you mean. I enjoy writing, and I think one of the most common things I enjoy writing is scenes where characters just have a heart to heart, then platonically cuddle, lol. It gives me the warm and fuzzies to write about someone else having it, even though I don’t—not exactly, anyway. I’ve seen people comment that they wish they had that too when I write about it, so I don’t think we’re alone in that ><
Seriously, just having someone to play with your hair, letting you lay your head in their lap while they do that; maybe just wrapping you in their arms and holding you for a while; laying down and getting pulled back into a comforting spoon to take a nap and just feel safe. All in a platonic sense, where they’re just being there for you and sharing warmth and gentle, comforting touches. Who doesn’t want that? :,(
