Well I wrote a poem about how stereotypes about me and my scarf were making me feel blue. But in the middle of it, I started realizing how happy I was with it and by the time I finished it I really loved it so I decided to keep it for myself so I can keep credit for it. Anyways sometimes I come here to rant but end up feeling better so I delete my posts. But some advice I will leave here is, you can’t fight fire with fire. That’s completely ridiculous to do and pretty much useless because well ITS FIRE! But what you can do is be as cool as ice (or as a cucumber) and well society’s judgements can’t burn you. Just remember, you have something they don’t… A clearly functioning mind without any smoke clogging up your brain. Seriously, people can be so hotheaded sometimes but you know we all gotta keep an open mind with ventilation. No! literally! how else are you supposed to let off some steam. Okay, that was a terrible joke but you should critically think about what society tells you and shows you. Not everything is as one sided as you are told. Think logically, do what is safe and try not to take society’s judgements so hard. You really can’t make everyone happy or make them agree with you, or make them believe what you do. What you can do is make a good example of yourself and show them how to be kind and how to be fair. You can’t do much about racial and religious stereotypes (or all stereotypes in general) so all you can do is be the best person you can be.
