I wanted to tell y’all a funny story about something I did while playing Minecraft. Hopefully it’ll make your day better (it certainly made mine better).
So I was playing a game called Murder Mystery. Basically, there are 16 people. 14 of them are innocent, one is a sheriff, and one is a murderer. The murderer’s job is, well, to murder everyone.
I was playing a round as innocent and I collected enough coins to get myself a one-shot bow and arrows. A good thing too, since this particular murderer was working really fast. Not even two minutes in (matches last a maximum of five minutes) and eight players were dead. So I went to investigate. That’s when I saw the murderer kill someone. I aimed at her and fired my only arrow… and it missed her. She noticed me trying to kill her and got very pissed off at me. So pissed off, she threw a knife at me. I started to run, and she began to chase me. She threw multiple knives while chasing me and miraculously they all missed— I was too quick for her.
Finally she stopped chasing me after she found someone else to kill. I hid in a dark corner at the edge of the map. That’s when I realised I was the only one left alive (besides her) with one minute to go. Forty-five seconds left, she got a compass that would point to the nearest innocent. So I used a trick I’d seen a YouTuber do— there’s a glitch in the game which allows you to use the fake death emote to faint though the wall— it granted me a few seconds of invisibility. When she came by with her little compass, I just fainted into the wall and she walked right on by. Eventually she began to get frustrated, as she’d checked all of the usual hiding spots, and started circling the map. I just did my fake death trick every time she came by. When the clock ran out, I walked up to her and said hello. Boy, was she mad. She tried to stab me with her knife, but she couldn’t because the clock ran out.
And that’s how a glitch saved my life— and had me rolling on the floor laughing in the process.
