I just moved to another country for my new job because it is something I always wanted to do, I wanted to leave my home and explore the world. I had a job back home and I met this guy at work, we become close very quickly and we really understands each other. I started liking him a few months ago even I know I will leave soon. And now I have moved I still miss him terribly, many things reminds me of him and I don't know what I should do to stop feeling like this. I still don't have a lot of friends here and I miss a lot of things back home. It is definitely not an option to tell him how I feel because I am scared of rejection, and I feel like he only sees me as a friend. I don't know what I should do to forget about him. I feel like I need to do so to move on with my life and maybe I will find a better guy here, but at the same time I feel like I won't find another person that understands me this well. What should I do?

by just acknowledging this feeling is for sure a a big step! i think it wouldnt do any harm to give it a go, it doesnt have to be a confession or a love poem or anything, just a short message asking hows it going back at home. also dont think about finding someone better!! the more you try and try to find something the less likely you are to find it, let things fall naturally. so yeah start up that convo and it might just make you realise long distance chatting just isnt for you, or the opposite! good luck
