DOEs anyone know how to get rid of blackheads?????? Like IDk how but my cheeks just broke out like over night or something and now the area next to my nose has like a bunch of tiny black dots. I'm 100% sure they're black heads. I don't mind the ones on my nose but I've never had them on my cheeks. I think it might be also from using a mask on a daily basis. So does anyone know how to:

-Prevent blackheads

-Get rid of them

-Treat them???

Please any advice helps

Don’t over cleanse your face. Look up the oil cleansing method. Also, no one notices it as much as you do. Seriously. What’s inside matters more than outside

Oh no, oil cleansing might actually make it worse, especially if you’re already struggling with pimples and whatnot popping on your face.

Try salicylic acid (Paula’s Choice BHA 2% does wonders for people, however it didn’t work for me and it’s a bit pricy so decide for yourself if you want to give it a go; and remember that with a BHA you’ll need to not forget about wearing sunscreen). I’ve heard about SVR Sebiaclar Active being good, too. These are dermocosmetics so their product formulations are typically better, and so there’s a greater chance it’ll work.

Other than that, you can try an enzym peel, as well as a clay mask. Clay masks are great and cheap! I’d go for grey, rose or green (but don’t forget to mist it while you have it on your face so it doesn’t dry because it might damage your skin barrier). Don’t overdo the peel, once a week is enough, and about the clay masks — you can do 2–3 per week, but observe your skin so it doesn’t get irritated (sometimes less is more). Don’t forget to double cleanse either when washing your face (especially in the evening).

All in all, don’t fret about it too much! I know it can be frustrating, but as the other person said, your looks don’t matter as much as who you are as a person. With that being said, wish you all the best and hope it helps!

To add on to previous comments, do not try all of these methods at once! Pick out one to try, then stick with it for a month+ If it worsens of your skin has poor reactions, switch either back to your old routine for a month+ or a new routine. Best of luck!
