I've always wanted to look people into their eyes while talking. But I can't. And I never did that. I get flustered when someone looks into my eyes. I don't have to courage to look into others eyes. Why am I like this? I hate that I'm like this. Just why? Why am so nervous to just look into their eyes.? Someone help.

I can't really either. It's an anxiety thing. Just look at their foreheads or their general face. It makes people think you are looking them in the eye. Honestly, I feel it's creepy just to look right into someone's eyes. Too intimate, ya know? When we are children and we get in trouble, our parents always sternly say look me in the eye. Now it sort of feels uncomfortable and like punishment. All I can tell you is be respectful and don't look down.
ReplyIts an anxiety things. I experience it too so what I did is just look at their face for like 5 sec then look away then look at them again. or you can stare at their nose or forehead or eyebrow to make it look like you are looking at them. goodluck ,<3
ReplyI have the same issue...one thing that helps me is rather than staring into their eyes directly and making it awkward and very intimate, you can look into both eyes for a second and then focus on the lashes or in the eye area...it will give the impression that you're making eye contact...
