Leaves wrinkled as Adelphe runs through piles of colorful creations, soft winds pass her hair. Was this what love felt like? Free from any limitations? William looks at her underneath the tree that changed Adelphe’s life. The one that would be her begging and ending, “Why hello there.. I see we came to the same place.” William said with a smirk. Another harsh gust of wind comes upon her. “I see we have.” Adelphe said. “So?” he said, “Do you love me the way I love you?”. She looked back at William with tears in her eyes, that was the last time William Finney Smith was ever seen or heard again. Many say she killed him, others said he took his life on that very tree. On that fall evening in 1987.
Spring
Flowers bloomed again, when spring showers rained among the small city of Cincinnati Ohio. Caris slowly begins to put her clothes on, dreading the day to come, with a tired eye staring at the TV. “More people are dead..” She mumbled to herself. “All young men in their 20’s..”. More deep in thought she rushes to the table, her steps flooding the empty house.
Commotion spread outside of murders and crimes. Although Caris was in her own little world, one without much murder.
