I am 14 and when i tell my parents what I want for my birthdays they just tell me "You don't need that you need a treadmill or something". This year I want to experience The new metaverse but just like always they just laugh and say "you need exercise, just look at yourself, your body is just like father's" and I am like 6x fitter than him cause he has a huge belly. They never listen to me

my parents never use to listen either. I think they need a bit of prove-em-wrong sauce, changed my life! :)
ReplyI'm 16 and been though the same thing. i got emancipated last year and been living on my own with no contact to my parents. parents are tough and i know that it hurts and sometimes all you can do if find a way to cheer yourself up.

Replyit's definitely a challenge. If you are able to get a job it shouldn't be a problem. Also idk about everywhere else but in south carolina you can work from 14 and up
