Hello.
2022 is here and I need. I need passion, intimacy, feeling, touching, cuddling. Its been 55 months since my wife and I have been “together”.physically. Why? I have no idea but she has no passion or desire to. It’s all my fault, as she says. How can it be me if I am taking all the initiatives since day one of 43 years of marriage?1? I do not understand at all, so I am forced to do things for my own satisfaction. No, not an affair or cheating but other things.
No, she isn’t cheating. She just stays home and goes no where unless I take her some place she wants to go. I love to be out and about, she prefers home and tv. I prefer excitement and fun things. She has one hobby - NFL Football. That’s it, besides our grandkids. I prefer long drives, intimacy, touching, caressing, loving.
What do you prefer? Tell me. Help me understand so I am not completely stressing out daily and having a ton of anxiety constantly that I will take a plunge and find someone to fulfill my needs whenever the moment allows.

Have you tried talking to your wife about this? Tell her you're so desperate for female contact that you're seriously considering straying from your marriage so you can be with another woman. That will definitely get her attention.
Be honest with her through all of it. I promise you, if you go sneaking around and cheat, you'll regret it. Be very open, be honest with her even through the hard times. Tell her how you feel and again, tell her she's so non-affectionate with you that you feel distant from her and your needs aren't being met, so you're tempted to cheat.
Open communication is the key to a successful marriage. If you don't have open communication or your spouse is an asshole who won't ever talk to you, your marriage isn't going to work.
