You get the evening's. The "come on" texts. The too drunk nights. You're rarer, a girl to chase. A girl she wants and can have but cannot. The girl she likely will have. I may be there but in the evenings you get her. She is with you.

I get the mornings, if I time it well. I get cuddles and compliments but they are my doing. I am only adorable. I am the best friend but not the best. I am a child, small and infuriating. Someone to confide in. I can never tell her.
