I am currently in a depressing stage with no motivation and goals. I have recently graduated and waiting for my job posting in a 2-3 months time. In the meantime, I was thinking about working as a part timer but unfortunately the Covid situation is unstable in my area and my parents are worried about it and asked me to stay home. I have stayed for a month at home learning some courses but i still felt the dullness and constant feeling of unworthiness and uncertainty lurking in my mind. Is it still worth it to continue staying at home currently or shall I work as a part timer right now ? …. Working at home is not an option given that I am only able to work just 1-2 month ….

Get the job.
Studies show people are happier when employed generally.
Also get outside, go for a daily walk.
Vitamin D from the sun is one of the best shields against covid and youll be absolutely fine even if you catch covid. Youve probably already had it or maybe youll get it and not even notice.
If a mild illness that has a lower death rate percentage than a lot of common winter colds have had in the past is enough to scare you to stay in the house then you need to get off social media and stop watching the news. Even if its just for a month, try it. See how you feel.
If youre not worried about covid then id still say get the job. You need a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
Its hard to make a lot of changes all at once but you can feel better, it just takes effort. Get that job, socialise, excersize and eat good food. Youll feel better in no time.
If you are too scared to go out then you need fresh air and sunlight still somehow. There is no other alternative to that, if youre stuck inside. You wont feel better, ive been there and its horrible.
Wishing you all the best
