Since the time I was in first grade I was always sick. I would get sick every time I ate food. I have been going to doctor, after doctor, after doctor, without ever receiving an answer. I am almost 21 years old now and still only a little closer to finding the answer. Doctors say i have gastroparesis which causes the nausea and vomiting because my stomach doesn't digest food as quickly as the average person's stomach does. However, I have been taking the medication for this and it has not helped. My symptoms are increasingly getting worse without a way to control or fix the problem. Blood tests have revealed that I may have a growth on my pituitary gland as well causing an auto immune disease. Currently I may have two different autoimmune diseases, gastroparesis, and a growth on my pituitary gland. I am tired, tired of fighting everyday just to stay alive. I don't want to fight anymore, and I am having a hard time trying to find the purpose of fighting anymore. The results are taking longer than expected and I haven't been able to eat in almost six days. Anytime I do it is thrown up. In 4 days, I lost eight pounds. I am not going to be able to do this for much longer. I guess I am writing this to see if anyone else understands this helpless/hopeless feeling and is able to give advice on how to overcome it. Because at the moment I am tired of fighting and it is really hard to keep going when I can't have a life, I can't do anything but lay in bed and drink liquids. I am tired and I am fearful that I am losing this constant uphill battle.

Be gentle with yourself… I know you’re doing the best that you can. But when life hits you so hard that you feel tired and lose hope always remember to BREATHE… ur going to be ok… you’ve been here before… you’ve been this scared, anxious and uncomfortable and you survived. Breathe and know you can survive this too..i know it all feels unbearable right now.. just breathe.. keep breathing… and pray.. this too shall pass. I will pray for your fast recovery and I hope you will feel better soon. Sending virtual warm hugs 🫂 DON’T GIVE UP ON LIFE!!
ReplyDear, this sounds serious, you should contact your doctor. I had really bad nausea when I could not almost eat anything. If you can drink liquids my recommendation is - to put rice and carrots into boiling water, cook them, and when it is done put them into the mixer and mix it all together (carefully, maybe you could let it cool down a little) then strain the liquid (remove all big pieces) so you will have liquid only. Try to eat this (you can add a little bit of salt) you can lick it (if the chewing makes you sick). it is possible to warm it up later in the microwave oven. I hope this helps you! Maybe it is not the tasties food in the world but it helped me to start eating when I had my "my worst days" Good luck
